Inspiration

Just have to share this video. I have been so blessed to have this child, now man in my life for many years. Hope this video inspires you. This is Dylan, my best friends son. He loves sports especially basketball. Two years ago, he was asked to be a part of the Senior boys basketball team despite being in a wheelchair. He kept stats for team team but always wishing he could be out on the court with his team mates. Last night, God saw fit for that to happen. With the help of his coach, teammates, and the opposing team, he was able to play for one play and make an assist to his teammate. Warms my heart to see someone who has so much joy despite experiencing being dealt what many may say is a bad hand. This really puts things into perspective. Find your joy in God and don't let anyone or anything determine your happiness.

Okay so I can't get the video to upload. But you can check it out on my Facebook or you tube.

Where I do work

I love my job!  Sometimes it can be stressful but I love the challenge that it brings.  I am rarely in the office but wanted to show everyone how amazing it is.  I feel so relaxed, organized, and like I can conquer the world while I am in this office space.

This is my computer desk.

Another view!

Desk and Computer desk from the doorway.

A few decorations and my huge filing cabinet.

I am so blessed to have this space to work in and hopefully, make a different in the world of education.

Keymer and Benton Christmas

On Christmas day, we had two family gatherings to attend.  First, we went to my parents and then to Jeff's parents.

All of Nana and Pop-pop's grandchildren waiting on gifts.

As always, Pop-pop is handing out the presents.

Luke was so excited to get his camo walkie talkies and binoculars.

Brilee, modeling the beautiful hat that my SIL, Stephanie makes.

I am not sure that Keyton was having fun at this point, but he looks so cute crying.

Jeff and Garon, waiting on presents to be handed out.

Pa and Evan waiting on presents to be handed out.

Luke got new boots from Pa and Grandma.  He has been so excited and wants to wear them everywhere.

Grady got a new bike from Pa and Grandma and he was so happy.  Later the boys went out to ride (Luke got a bike from Santa).

Pa opening up gifts.

Evan preferred to eat the presents and this gift didn't even belong to him, silly boy!

My favorite part of the night was listening to Jeff, Dan and Bert sing and play songs.  They are awesome.

Jeff playing the guitar.  I am so proud of this man and his talent.

Finally, it began to snow.  The boys were so excited but sadly it was already dark and by morning, there just wasn't much on the ground in Flippin.

I saved the best picture for last.  I caught Stephanie showing Jeff's Granny how to work the I-pad.  I thought this was so precious.

Coleman Christmas

We had another great family Christmas.  This gathering was for the Coleman family (My mom's side).

Uncle Glen doing something I have never witnessed before.  He is down in the floor playing with the kiddos.

My wonderful cousin Kevin playing with Maci.

Granny, Collette, and Brilee playing in the floor.

Aunt Karen and my big fat thighs (LOL)!

Mom lecturing Jeff about something.  As you can tell, he seems very interested (ha!).

More Kevin and Maci!

Now Uncle Ray decided to get in on the fun.  Poor Maci!

I love to see how happy it makes Granny to see her kids and grand kids.  I will cherish times like these forever.

Evan playing in the tunnel.

More Evan!  He and Keyton were having such a good time.

Sorry Dad, I couldn't resist putting this on here.  Nice belly!  Love you!

Christmas at the Gray's

Christmas was wonderful this year and we were able to spend quality time with all parts of the family.  While at the Gray family Christmas (Jeff's mom's side), we ate a wonderful breakfast, opened gifts, rode four-wheelers, and obviously took pictures.

Garon is such a good kid.  He was quite content playing with his new toy all by himself.  I just love this child.

Dan is trying to snap pictures of kids as they run through the house.  Below him is my SIL, Stephanie.  And in the background, you can see Jeff, Karen and Granny Gray looking on.

This is Evan and may be one of the most precious pictures I have ever seen.  Jeff's Pa passed away before I was ever around but he was Jeff's best friend.  In his Granny's house, there are plaques of recognition and various pictures of Jeff's Pa.  Evan was so interested in them and spent alot of time checking them out.  As a side note, there is a picture of Jeff's Pa on our fridge and Evan loves it and always points at it and says, "Pa, Pa, Pa, Pa."

It hard to catch these kids, but this is Landon.  He is Brett's(Jeff's cousin) son.  This kiddo looks more like his father than any child I have every seen.

Seth and Andrea bought all the kiddos guns.  Grady and Luke had so much fun running around and playing with them.

Here is Pa with most of his grand kids (Luke, Evan, and Grady).

Dan and Garon waiting on everyone to get ready to ride.

The men with their guns.

Stephanie taking photos.

Dan, Jeff, Seth and Garon.

Andrea and Landon

A picture of the Gray Great-grand kids completed a wonderful day at the farm.
