Concert

I was so excited when one of my family friends asked me to go to a concert with her.  I haven't really had a break away from kids or done anything fun just for me.  Given that Mother's Day was coming up, I thought this would be a great gift to myself, Ha!

Thomas Rhett was first on stage and he sang a few songs.  I was surprised that I recognized them, considering I had never heard his name before.

He put on a Razorback jersey which made the crowd go crazy.  We love our Hogs here in Arkansas.

Jake Owen was next and he was by far my favorite.  He interacted with the crowd so much.  I loved it.

I couldn't believe how close we were to the stage.  I literally could have reached out an touched him when he sat down in front of us.

Wow!  He seemed to have so much fun and so did everyone else.

How about that Arkansas shirt?! He even had the crowd call the hogs.

Jason Aldean was the big artist.  He was very good too.

You can barely see me but Jake took the girl next to me's camera and took his picture with us.  Very cool!

Evans 2nd Birthday

Wow, I can't believe Evan is already two. It honestly seems like we were at the hospital and bringing him home. Evan you had very little desire to leave my belly when Dr. Robinson was trying to get you out and you still love being close to me. I love that you love me. Your personality cracks me up. Anytime you get into trouble, you pretend not to hear us. You make the funniest facial expressions. You are currently saying your ABC's with very little help. You can count to 5 and try to go as high as 10. You talk in complete sentences. You love basketball and playing tackle football. You currently weigh 26 pounds, wear 2t clothes, and you are still working on the potty training. This past week, we finally broke you completely from the bottle. You haven't liked it but are doing pretty good.

We had your birthday party and you wanted a pirate party. You had a piƱata and all the kiddos loved trying to break it open.

Evan we love you so much and pray daily for your future. I pray for your future education, walk with Christ, future job and your future wife. I pray that we are molding you into the young man God intends for you to be. I love you to the moon and back and bigger than the ocean.
