All that's left is a fat belly

We have ate twice and now I am miserable. I can't understand how anyone could move well enough to go showing tonight. We have loved our time with family. Tomorrow we start preparing for Christmas and I am not too excited about the tree but the kids are!

Cooking fun

In our family, Luke and I are the cooks. We love to make anything and usually he is a big help. Here is a short look at the first day of preparing for Thanksgiving. Yum, yum!

Oh and the cookies have nothing to do with Thanksgiving. Luke just picked out those items and asked to make cookies. He didn't even eat them, ha!

Twins and thanksgiving

We had twin night last week at church so I dressed the boys alike. I am often amazed at how much they look like each other. Luke and Evan have done several thanksgiving activities and as of today, I am officially on break. So excited to spend some time with my boys. I have so much to be thankful for. Here are of a few things:

My boys, they brighten my day
My husband
My job, stressful but rewarding
My BFFs, Lindsay, Lori and Penny
My family, were crazy but fun
My church, Flippin FBC
My salvation, thank you Jesus

Enjoy the pictures!

More boys and our babysitter

My boys are growing up so quickly. Evan is already 18 months old.  We went for his wellness checkup and he was 27 lbs and 35 inches tall.  We have been showing him some tough love lately.  He only gets one bottle and that is at night to go to sleep.  Also, we are letting him cry himself back to sleep if he wakes in the middle of the night.  This is very difficult because I find myself worrying about his ability to breath.  We learned that he has asthma and he is currently on an inhaler twice a day.

Children just seem like angels as they sleep.

Evan is into everything now.  In this picture, I searched the entire house trying to find him.  I finally heard a noise coming from my cabinet.  The funny part is that he wanted to stay in there.

Luke and Evan were very excited when Ella came to visit at Killion's.  Luke is such a big boy and loves to help with babies.  He has such a good heart even though it doesn't always show.  Luke continues to ask lots of questions about Heaven, God, Jesus and so forth.  I assume he must have learned about Jesus dying on the cross because now he thinks that he will die on a cross.  It is very interesting to listen to an almost 4 year old talk about Heaven.  On Friday, one of Killion's puppies got ran over.  I told Luke it died and was going to Heaven.  He asked, "Mom can we stay until it goes?"

And this is the wonderful babysitter that I talk about often.  She is so good to send me pictures throughout the day.  I know I miss alot of things that my children do and say given that I am a working mom.  I am glad that she treats them just like they are her own.  My children are so loved and we are so thankful.

Jeff has been gone alot lately which makes us sad but when he is home, this is what you will likely see in my living room.  The kids love to play and wrestle with their daddy.

These brothers are so rough on each other but they love each other so much.

Here is another picture of Killion and her family.  Boston is her baby and I am pretty sure my kids think he is part of their family. HA!

More evidence that Evan enjoys hiding from people.  He is so funny.

Random thoughts:

  • I am super excited about thanksgiving.
  • I have already picked out what I am bringing to each house for Thanksgiving: Deviled eggs, green bean casserole, pecan pie cobbler (pinterest), and banana toffee pie (pinterest).
  • Today was Maci's birthday party.  Luke was so funny on the way there.  I told him Maci was his cousin.  He asked who else was his cousin.  I told him: Ethan, Brilee, Maci, Keyton, Grady and Garron.  He said so Brilee isn't my cousin anymore because she wont let me play with her toys.  Kids are so silly.  By the way, he told me that he would take back that statement once we got to Aunt CO-Co's.
  • Evan's new favorite words are "hold me, blankie, milk, buckle."
  • I have started the final step of my internship and I am so ready for it to end.  Only 4 more weeks and I may never have to pay for a college class again.
  • Luke created the cutest card for our neighbor because they put up Christmas lights.

Some of my must haves

So this post is very random but these are just a few items that I can't live without.

I love this eye serum.  It feels so amazing going on and helps this mommy with her sleep deprived eyes.

I know this is completely random, but this toilet bowl cleaner is amazing.  It has disposable pads and cleans it so very well and quickly.

This powder does amazing work on my hair.  You have to try this stuff, it is like magic.

I love me some Diet Pepsi.  I know it is terrible for me but I love it.

I love this color, "You don't know Jacques."  I am sure I jacked up that name.

Another Clinque product but I love this stuff too.  My skin feels amazing afterwards.

My wonderful hairdresser sales these products.  She doesnt mark them up for her clients because she wants their hair to look great.  It has made a huge difference in my hair.  Love this.

Finally, I do not go without the Magic Eraser in my house.  Any mom with two boys knows about this product.  It even removed sharpie from a bathroom wall.  You gotta try this.

Well hope you guys enjoyed this crazy post.  It was fun to write.

6 years of marriage

I have been married to my best friend for six years. I have been so blessed to have you in my life for the last 9 years and even more blessed to have been able to call you my husband for the last six. In this short time, we have experienced so much. We bought our first home and two vehicles, had two amazing kids, I started a new job, and we have taken a few amazing trips together. I have enjoyed this amazing journey with you and look forward to what the future holds for us.

Thanks for loving me. Thanks for wiping away my tears. Thanks for being an amazing dad. Thanks for dealing with my mood swings. Thanks for being a Godly leader in our home. Thanks for being my best friend. Thanks for working hard to provide for us. And finally, thanks for not getting upset at me when your friends tell you that I wrote an entire post about you. I love you so much!

Love these two

These two boys are so amazing. When I think back on the last four years, it amazes me how fast our lives have changed and how blessed we are.

Thank you Lord for giving us two strong willed and active children. Some days I wish they weren't so active but today I am thankful that they are healthy enough to be active. God is so great and our family is so blessed.
